Levitt Connect: Community

Taking Levitt on the Road

In an effort to take Levitt on the road and build community off the lawn, the new Levitt Connect: Community program was conceived. We believe it is imperative to meet our community where they are, building bridges and relationships through the power of free live music. In 2023, we programmed eight pop-up concerts. We partnered with local organizations to bring local musicians into Dayton area neighborhoods. Our goal to meet people where they are honors that there are more barriers to access than ticket price alone.

Pop Up Concerts

Our goal with this program is to be additive to the work that other organizations are doing in our community. We believe that when we work together in a collaborative spirit we strengthen the fabric of our city. In 2023, we partnered with The Food Bank, The Hope Center, Lakeside Apartments, Greater Edgemont Community Center, Dayton Children's Hospital, Emerge, and City of Trotwood utilizing live music as a catalyst for the work they are doing in our city.

In 2024, we are continuing the program and partnering with more local organizations to create eight pop-up concerts. These pop-up concerts will include The Foodbank, International Peace Museum, and others. Levitt Connect: Community pop-up concerts are just one way we're working to make live music accessible to everyone in Dayton. So come join us as we celebrate the power of music to bring people together and build a stronger, more vibrant community.
