World Music Series
Dayton Metro Library has joined as a partner to offer additional elements to the World Music Series.
Rousing and raucous, Scythian (sith-ee-yin) plays roots music from Celtic, Eastern European and Appalachian traditions with thunderous energy, technical prowess, and storytelling songwriting, beckoning crowds into a barn-dance, rock concert experience. Nashville’s Music City Roots says Scythian is ‘what happens when rock star charisma meets Celtic dervish fiddling’, and the Washington Post says “Scythian’s enthusiasm is contagious, and shows seem to end with everyone dancing, jumping around or hoisting glasses.”
All concerts in the 2023 Eichelberger Concert Season at the Levitt Pavilion Dayton are free and open to the public, no ticket or RSVP necessary.
All concerts begin at 7PM.
You can bring in lawn chairs or blankets as well as outside food and beverage – including alcohol (just no glass). You can also rent lawn chairs for a $5 donation on site and there are food and beverage vendors on site as well.
