To make the most of your evening at the Levitt Pavilion Dayton, bring a fun attitude, a lawn chair or blanket for relaxing, snacks or a picnic dinner (BYOB — no glass allowed) although we also will have food trucks available and beverages for purchase.

You may want a hat, sunscreen, bug spray or other protection from Mother Nature. If it looks like rain, you might want a poncho or small umbrella as concerts are rain or shine unless weather conditions are dangerous.

Don’t forget the most important thing — your family and friends for sharing the fun, the music, and most of all, the magic! You do NOT need to bring a ticket to our free concerts, just show up and find a spot on the lawn.

There is no assigned seating at Levitt Dayton and all seating is open lawn space. You choose where you want to enjoy the concert, just bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

We also have lawn chairs available for rent at each concert! Stop by the concessions stand to rent one for $5 with your name and phone number, then return it at the end of the concert.

All of the parking lots around the Levitt Pavilion Dayton have designated handicapped parking. Ramps lead to the lawn on the Jefferson Street side of the park.

All four entrances are wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchairs can be parked all along the sidewalks or on the lawn.

Our restrooms are equipped with accessible stalls and we have a separate family restroom that is accessible as well.

All of the Levitt’s concerts are family friendly, and the Levitt lawn is a great place for the kids!

Please be responsible for your children, and make sure they don’t disturb the people around you who are trying to enjoy the concert. Please also stop your kids from littering, interfering with any of the park’s beautiful plants, and for their safety, please don’t let them climb on or around the large speakers at the front of the stage.

Your furry family members can come to the concert and are welcome in our designated dog-friendly area at the back of the lawn.

They must be always on a leash and under your control, well behaved, not aggressive, or disruptive, and you must clean up after them. If a dog is aggressive or disruptive and spoils the concert experience for others, you will be asked to come back to enjoy a concert another time. Please also consider if the concert volume is appropriate for your dog’s sensitive ears.

There is no smoking on the Levitt Pavilion Dayton lawn, including vaping and e-cigarettes.

Our concerts at Levitt Dayton are rain or shine unless weather is dangerous. However, Dayton’s summer weather is unpredictable, and Levitt Pavilion Dayton concerts may be canceled at the last minute due to lightning or bad weather.

The first place to check on a concert’s status is on our website LevittDayton.org where we will place a brightly colored banner at the top of the home page announcing the change. Canceled concerts and weather updates also are posted on the Levitt Pavilion Dayton’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

Levitt Pavilion Dayton is a city park and falls under the policies of the City of Dayton’s Public Works Department. For the enjoyment of all our Levitt Pavilion Dayton visitors who are there for a pleasant evening of music under the stars, please observe these rules during your visit.
