Bullying is Played Out: Taking a Stand Against Bullying Thru the Arts
20% of students ages 12-18 experience bullying nationwide.
Please join Samaritan Behavioral Health on May 20 at Levitt Pavilion in Dayton for an anti-bullying rally for all ages, hosted by Samaritan Behavioral Health in conjunction with the Young Adult Council of the United Against Violence of Greater Dayton Project. Rain date is May 21, same time. This is a free event for the entire family.
The United Against Violence of Greater Dayton Project sponsored by Samaritan Behavioral Health and funded by Common Spirit’s goal is – Children, Youth, and families, through development of knowledge and skills, will be better equipped to stop the cycle of violence in our community.
There will be great music featuring DJ Authentic Eddie Davis and a live performance by the Deron Bell Band with keynote speaker Sean Walton, Sr. There will also be exhibits by the Visual Arts From The Peace Museum as well as the Gem City Project Dayton. Over 15 area non-profit partners will be bringing activities and information about their agencies and how they serve our community. We hope to see you there!
